Folksy Friday - back to school

September - time to go to school again. That was my first though of September years ago. And it was like that every year - I hated it because the holiday was over and as every child I wanted the holiday to last. But there also was an excitement like buying new notebooks, pencils, pens the pen cases and also the school bag. In my times school bag was a statement but then again having a Spice Girls sticker on your notebook was a statement too :) Have I told you that once my teacher send a note to my parents - YOUR DAUGHTER HAS BEEN CROCHETING THROUGHOUT THE BIOLOGY LESSON - my mum couldn't stop laughing after I passed her the note - anybody else has the funny school times story, because I have tons of them.

I browsed Folksy for some school items and I have to tell you that if your kids are going to school this September I would seriously think of purchasing one of the below items:

School bag from HollyJolly Stockings

Beano Comic Book - Upcycled School Desk from Framedup

Schoold Uniform Hair Accessory set from Beautiful Things

New School Card from Rebecca Lancaster Designs

Brompton Badger with satchel and school books Knitting Pattern PDF from fluss and fuzz

  9. That is one cool desk. I've got a little wooden school chair that I bought for £3 from a reclamation centre - they'd go perfectly together! x Love your naughty crochet story ;)
